The island of Ireland is divided in 4 provinces and thirty two counties. The largest county in Ireland is Cork and the smallest or wee county is County Louth.

The 6 counties of Northern Ireland are:
Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Tyrone and Fermannagh.

Counties in Conaught are:

Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim, Galway and Roscommon

Ulster Counties are:

Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Tyrone, Fermannagh, Donegal. Cavan, Monaghan,

Leinster Counties

Dublin, Carlow, Wicklow, Wexford, Meath, Westmeath, Louth, Kildare,Longford,
Offaly, Laois, Kilkenny

Munster Counties:

Kerry, Cork, Clare, Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick

Each county has their own sporting colors so visitors may be somewhat surprised at the huge array of sports shirts that are worn with pride by the young. These county colors and passions are never more to the fore than at a Gaelic Football or Hurling match between rival counties.
